Depression and low mood can affect far more than how someone feels. They can influence motivation, energy, thinking, behaviour, relationships and the way a person sees themselves and their future. Effective therapeutic work therefore needs to go beyond simply trying to make someone feel more positive, recognising the complex and individual factors that can contribute to low mood and keep it going.
NeuroMood explores a broader, evidence-informed approach to using hypnotherapy with depression and low mood, drawing on our growing understanding of the brain, behaviour and emotional wellbeing. You'll develop practical ways to work with the patterns that can contribute to and maintain low mood, while adapting your approach to the individual client and helping them move towards greater engagement, connection and emotional wellbeing.
