Our bodies can hold and communicate experiences in ways that aren't always easily reached through words alone. Sensations, tension, movement and shifts in physical awareness can all provide valuable information within therapy, creating opportunities to work with what a client is experiencing in the moment rather than relying entirely on cognitive or verbal exploration.
Somasense® explores how hypnosis can be combined with body-based awareness to create a more embodied approach to therapeutic work. You'll develop practical ways to work with sensation, internal awareness and the mind–body relationship, helping clients notice and respond differently to their experience while adapting the approach sensitively to each individual.

Somasense® Somatic Hypnotherapy Course
Somasense® brings body awareness into hypnosis, creating opportunities to work with sensations, tension, movement and other physical experiences as part of the therapeutic process. Rather than relying primarily on thoughts or verbal exploration, practitioners learn to pay attention to what is happening within the body and use this responsively within hypnotic work. The approach provides a flexible framework for working with the mind–body connection and creating a more embodied therapeutic experience.
Somasense® gives you a practical framework for bringing body-based awareness into your hypnotherapy practice and working more directly with the physical experience of emotions, stress and other therapeutic concerns. You'll learn how to help clients notice and explore sensations, tension and changes within the body, and use these experiences as part of a more responsive and individualised hypnotic approach.
Your training includes in-depth video lessons and written resources, an exploration of body-based and mind–body approaches to therapeutic work, practical techniques for incorporating somatic awareness into hypnosis, structured exercises, ready-to-use scripts, client resources, and practitioner-friendly marketing materials. Assignments are optional, and once you complete the course you’ll receive externally accredited certification. Dr. Claire Jack is also available throughout for support and guidance as you begin incorporating Somasense® into your work with clients.
